Our Ceramid Moisturiser Cream is rich and nutritive, featuring a water-in-oil solution specifically designed for dry and sensitive skin. With vegan ceramides extracted from rice through a specialised process that enhances sphingolipids and phospholipids, this cream reinforces the structure and quality of the skin’s stratum corneum. Ceramides constitute the primary components of the intercellular lipid cement (40%), and they govern several crucial biological functions, including: 

• The regulation of trans-epidermal water flow. 
• The cohesion of stratum corneum layers. 
• Skin protection. 
• The restoration of the skin barrier. 

In a clinical study conducted on 11 healthy volunteers, vegan ceramides demonstrated significant improvements in skin hydration. The results showed an increase of +73% compared to the placebo after just 30 minutes and a 53% increase compared to the placebo after 8 hours.
